I graduated from the University South Dakota School of Law in 1989, where I worked for the Minnehaha County Public Defender’s Office until 1996. From there, I worked in the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota, where I held the record for the most jury trial wins until 2006. I have also won every misdemeanor case I have handled in the last 14 years.

I have more than 30 years of experience defending my clients. In every case I take, I make sure I understand all the critical details of it before developing a personalized representation strategy to overcome the challenges that each client is facing.
